ABOUT PALOMA ARGIBAY

Paloma Argibay Marchand was born in 1994 in Vigo and grew up in Sitges (Barcelona). She always had an artistic interest but it was not until the 2020 pandemic that she encountered her love for sculpture.

 

During the lockdown she began sculpting wood and clay. Starting out as an autodidact she now tries to refine her technique with the academic methods of the Barcelona Academy of Art. 

 

Her work is figurative, inspired by everyday life and the expressivity of the human body. Her interest in nature is reflected in the materials of her sculptures.
